Samantha Jo was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN but is now based out of Chicago, IL. However recently she has spent the past three and a half years living in Beijing, China working with Universal Studios Beijing Resort. During her time there she was delighted to be Fairy Godmother for Hollywood Meet & Greet and Universal on Parade full time and then got to participate in many swing and seasonal event opportunities. Samantha has really enjoyed learning conversational Chinese, learning Chinese culture, and exploring China and surrounding countries in her time with UBR.

Before her long stint in Beijing, some of her recent professional theatre credits include Ado Annie(Oklahoma!) at Porthouse Theatre, Allison(Beehive:The Musical), Wednesday Addams(Addams Family:The Musical), and Silly Girl(Beauty and the Beast) at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre.

Samantha Jo also has a BFA in Musical Theatre from Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts(CCPA).

In her free time she loves to explore, be with her friends and family, read, and play video games. Samantha Jo has even created a gaming YouTube channel as a hobby to share some of her favorite gaming moments with her friends. She looks forward to the future and all of the crazy and cool experiences it will bring!
